I found myself writing poetry this week. The last time I’d done that was over 30 years ago in college when I had written a few scraps of lines for a creative writing class and promptly packed them away afterward, but I kept them and come across them now and then, and it gives me a sense of feeling light.
All I can say now is yes, there is a Light more powerful than I could have imagined or expected.
These past few weeks… I learned that:
I had misplaced (lost sight of) very important life principles. (as you do)
I realized that ‘work’ need not be as difficult as I made it and that is one important principle to remember!!
We inevitably make things harder than they need to be!!
I need to trust because:
(When I least expect it, I always find the answer!)
Transitioning to Wellbeing
So while I had been struggling and searching for how I was going to talk about my transition from Affiliate Marketing to a Well-being business model in my videos, I discovered that in one sense there is no difference between the two business models.
Say what??
While researching well-being on YouTube and TikTok, I came across a guru I was familiar with who had titled his video Wellbeing, so I had to watch it.
In this video, he shares a story of attending an economic forum. Long story short, he’s introduced to the management of several companies, and he’s asked why he was there. Well, he said ‘You are in the business of well-being for your customers and that is the business I am in as well’.
Yes of course!!!
I am reminded that transitioning from one niche to another does not have to be complicated! We just need to find the connections!!
Leadership
I also appreciated his conversation on leadership. For him, leadership is about thinking further than our own well-being.
He said,
‘Leadership is the art of making people understand essentially deep down all our aspirations are the same, whether you are leading a company, a community, a city, or a country essentially it is about making people realize somewhere deep down all our aspirations are same.’
There is a Light
It is so important to remember that there is a light at the end of the tunnel!!
The Light is Leadership and seeing beyond our personal well-being and recognizing our shared aspirations.
It reminds me that true leadership is about fostering unity and making those connections, something that’s more important now than ever.
Please leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you!
Dream Big,
Be Fearless.

Hi Eleanor,
You are so right; we are in the business of helping others, if only at minimum to help make their lives easier. We surely tend to forget that when we’re caught up in every day tasks.
I know that I’ve had to step back a few times and reconsider what I was doing not because I didn’t feel comfortable doing them but mostly looking at it and looking to see how it best fit what I wanted for my life.
Stepping back is surely the best thing to do – even if it isn’t always that easy!
All the best!
Hi, Eleanor! You are so right! You will be in the business of helping your audience’s well-being. It’s still a business. When we “recognize all our aspirations are the same,” it connects us, and I imagine if you approach your audience in this way, it will help you connect with them. I wish you the best of luck in your new niche and look forward to seeing it grow!

Sorry if I posted this twice. The first time I did it seemed like it didn’t go through. I apologize if it came through twice. 😊
