Inspiration: A Renewed Sense of Purpose
In my previous post, I explored how profound and timely inspiration is.
I was referring to Dean Holland’s ‘Beginners Advantage training’ which was the right guidance at the right time when I needed it most and provided inspiration, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Rediscovering Passion and Purpose
I was beginning to feel stuck and needed motivation.
Inspiration though unquantifiable, is crucial for propelling us forward.
Einstein said, “Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.”
This is the value of inspiration although intangible is the creativity and motivation that gives us momentum.
The Journey to Wealth And Well-Being
Aligning business with personal values inspired me to explore the well-being niche in a post Living Our Core Values.
In my Power of Ideas post, I was inspired to create an online well-being space.
Sharing the process of choosing a niche through Dean’s exercises provided valuable insights and my list of potential niches converged under the well-being umbrella.
The Importance of Market Research
Market research ensures that a chosen niche meets the criteria and is crucial for long-term success.
The terms “wellness” and “well-being” were often used interchangeably during the research. However, as the industry evolved, there were important distinctions.
Wellbeing / Wellness
Wellness is actively pursuing good health and a healthy lifestyle whereas
Wellbeing is a broader, more holistic concept that covers overall life satisfaction and happiness. It looks at the whole person and how different areas of life interconnect to create a sense of fulfillment. It includes physical health and mental, emotional, social, financial, and other aspects of life.
Clarification to Verify Market Results
Although well-being suits my overall purposes best I may need to use ‘wellness‘ as ‘well-being retreat‘ comes under that heading.
I will need to seek clarification as to whether choosing a niche solely on popularity or whether other factors can be considered. For me, wellbeing feels more like a calling than just a niche so how important is this difference between ‘wellbeing’ and ‘wellness’?
Embracing the Journey and Staying Inspired
I am enthusiastic about the future and the journey I’m on. It’s a reminder that inspiration often comes through the act of creating itself. I continue to document and share my journey with a renewed sense of purpose and calling.

Great reminder Eleanor and even better post!
being able to have a clearer understanding of the steps we need to take and do to get to where we want to go is such a great feeling!
Having all that weight removed from our shoulders also makes it easier for us to focus on what needs to be done. Wishing you all the best on that journey and looking forward to you sharing that with us all!
All the best!
Great post Eleanor! It’s always amazing how when we need it most the answers seem to come. I really enjoyed your quote from Einstein “Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted.”. My enthusiasm needs a refill this week and I am looking for those answers as well. Thanks for sharing your experiences this week and your finding a renewed enthusiasm!
Hi Eleanor,
I loved reading about your journey from feeling stuck to finding renewed purpose through Dean Holland’s training. The distinction you made between “well-being” and “wellness” was particularly insightful. Understanding these nuances can really help in carving out a unique and meaningful niche.
Your choice to focus on well-being rather than just wellness resonates with me. It’s a broader concept that truly reflects a more holistic approach to life. In my experience, while niche markets can indeed be smaller, they often provide more dedicated and engaged audiences. If your passion aligns with a niche that feels like a calling, it’s likely that your authenticity will attract the right audience, even if it’s less mainstream.
Looking forward to seeing how your well-being space evolves!
Hi Eleanor,
It’s wonderful to see how Dean’s training has reignited your passion and given you a renewed sense of purpose. Your insights on the distinction between wellness and well-being are incredibly valuable.
For me, inspiration often comes from seeing the positive impact that our work can have on others.
Thank you for sharing your process and insights. I’m looking forward to continuing to follow your journey and learning more from you.

Personally, I found choosing a niche outside of the one I’m already invested in extremely difficult. There’s nothing I feel that passionate about. But I’m glad you have so many to choose from. I hope your research guides you to the right one for you.
I absolutely loved this post! It’s so awesome to hear about your journey from feeling stuck to finding clarity. Your dive into the well-being and wellness niches was super interesting, especially how you broke down the differences. It’s amazing how a bit of introspection and planning can lead to such big insights.
Your excitement about creating a well-being retreat is totally contagious, and I really appreciate how you’re sharing your process so openly. I can’t wait to follow your journey and see where this new clarity takes you!
I feel called to do this business, as well, and to keep learning. It’s never too late and we’re never too old. That’s a motto that flows through the videos I make every day. Waking up everyday with a sense of curiosity gives me the impetus to keep moving forward. The gentler the process, the better. Peace.
